Sonya’s connection to the Northern Outer Banks of Currituck runs generations deep. Her family’s storied history includes connections to Betsy Dowdy, a Revolutionary War heroine, and lighthouse keepers who helped shape the region. This rich heritage fuels her passion for preserving traditions while helping clients create new memories in this beautiful area.

Sonya also brings a strong business background, with degrees from Campbell University and Elizabeth City State University, and years of experience in business management. Her communication skills and attention to detail make her a trusted partner in navigating the real estate market.
